ANNOUNCEMENTS
End-of-Year Medication Pickup Reminder
All student medications and treatments must be picked up from the nurse’s office by 1 pm May 21st, 2026.
Medications must be picked up by a parent or guardian. Medications will not be sent home with students.
For safety and policy reasons, any medications remaining after May 21st will be properly discarded.
Please contact the nurse’s office if you have any questions or need to make arrangements for pickup.

Immunization Requirement Reminder
All updated immunization records for newly enrolled students, Kindergarten, 7th grade, and 12th grade must be submitted by Friday, September 4, 2026.
Required Immunizations:
Kindergarten:
Completed MMR
Completed Varicella
Completed Hepatitis B series
Completed DTaP series
Completed Polio series
7th Grade:
All Kindergarten immunizations
First dose of Tdap
First dose of Meningococcal vaccine
12th Grade:
All Kindergarten and 7th grade immunizations
Second dose of Meningococcal vaccine
or one dose of Meningococcal vaccine if administered on or after the 16th birthday
Please ensure your child’s records are up to date and submitted by the deadline to avoid any interruption to school attendance.

📢 Mobile Dentist Coming to Our School – March 31st, April 1st & May 6th 2026
The Mobile Dentist will be visiting our school on Tuesday- March 31st, Wednesday- April 1st, and Wednesday- May 6th to provide on-site dental care for students. If the Mobile Dentist reaches out to you, please get in contact with them.
Elementary Students – Applications are being sent home.
Middle & High School Students – Applications are available in the High School office.

District Nurse
Hi, my name is Holly Pummel & I am Paint Valley’s District Nurse. I am a Paint Valley Graduate. In my high school years, I completed the Allied Health Program at Pickaway-Ross. I knew early on, my career would be in nursing. After graduation, I completed my Practical Nursing Certificate. I would then use my LPN to work in family medicine and urgent care. While working, I completed my associates and bachelors degree in nursing at University of Rio Grande. The majority of my nursing practice was in the emergency department. I was fortunate enough to work at a critical access hospital where I was part of a great interdisciplinary team that worked together to provide care for our rural community. I decided to continue my education and obtained a Master's of Science in Nursing with a focus in Family Nurse Practitioner. I completed this at Mount Carmel College of Nursing in 2022. As a school nurse, I do not use my NP license, however, I still practice outside of school hours providing aesthetic services. Ever since my community nursing clinical in 2020, I have longed to be a school nurse. Having the opportunity to work at my own school has been the biggest blessing. I look forward to many years to come. Once a Bearcat, always a Bearcat!

ALL remaining medications after this date and time will be destroyed and discarded.
Please see the attached letter below for details regarding pick-up, as well as reminders for medications coming into the 2025-2026 school year.
