Welcome to Paint Valley

 _____________

Paint Valley provides each student an opportunity to achieve the skills necessary to be a productive citizen, to become a lifelong learner, and to meet the challenges of the future.

Parents and Fans:  The school district has an increasing issue with students being unsupervised during athletic activities. In an effort to keep all students safe and injury free, we are asking that any student in grades preschool to 8th grade, to be accompanied by an adult when attending a sporting event.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation. We want all spectators to enjoy our athletic events.

FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH

 TO ALL STUDENTS

FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

Paint Valley School District is proud to announce that our district has qualified for Community Eligibility Provision which allows the district to provide free breakfast and lunches to all students attending during the 2024-2025 school year.  This qualification was made possible by the Ohio Department of Education, the United States Department of Agriculture and the Paint Valley Local School District.

Although all regular served breakfast and lunch meals will be free of charge, the school district is reimbursed by a percentage based on three types of categories and the district will need to know what category your household will qualify for the 2024-2025 school year.  Parents will receive a mailing soon with details about the free breakfast and lunch program.  That mailing will be sent to the address currently on file for your student(s).   Enclosed in that mailing will be an application.  Please fill out the free or reduced lunch application and return that form to the district as soon as possible.   This mailing also includes eligibility guidelines and an explanation and frequently asked questions and answers.

If your household already qualifies for benefits through the certification list that the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services provides for students living in our school district, i.e., Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Ohio Works First (OWF), Medicaid, foster care children, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF),  or children who meet the definition of homeless runaway or migrant, the district will mail a different approval notice to the home address on file with the district.
